This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser and does not transfer to subsequent owners or users.

This warranty applies only to products installed and used for personal, family, or household purposes, and only when the products are installed by Whitewater and maintained according to Whitewater’s recommended maintenance procedures. This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused, in whole or in part, by improper use, mishandling, unauthorized repairs, or failure to follow care and maintenance instructions.

WHITEWATER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM A DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT. NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL APPLY BEYOND THE ONE-YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE.

In the event a product is found to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, Whitewater will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product. This warranty does not cover costs related to the removal, reinstallation, or transportation of the product.

Whitewater Policy on Installation of Shower Glass or Cultured Marble Panels over Third-Party Shower Floors, Bases or Walls

Whitewater Kitchen & Bath will no longer install cultured marble or shower glass enclosures over shower floors, bases, or wall panels made of acrylic, SMC, or any other plastic-based material.

Our cultured marble panels or shower glass may be installed over tile floors or walls provided by third parties. Tile is the only third-party material approved by default.

Our experience has shown that acrylic and other plastic-based materials are not strong enough to stay watertight over time. These materials tend to flex and move, which can cause caulk to fail, seals to break down, and water to leak into the walls or floor.

A general contractor may appeal this policy if they want to use a non-approved shower floor, base, or wall panel.

Whitewater will consider installing shower glass or cultured marble panels only if the contractor and/or property owner signs a waiver agreement.

This waiver confirms that Whitewater is not responsible for any leaks, movement, or waterproofing issues that may happen because of the third-party material.

If the contractor or owner trusts the quality of their supplier’s acrylic or plastic shower floor, base, or walls, Whitewater may proceed with installation only if a signed waiver is in place.
